Senior Management set up the ABC Innovation Department with the responsibility of creating the new future for the ABC.
Initially creative envisioning workshops took place with the high potential future leaders across the organization to develop a blueprint for developing innovation capabilities across all layers.
Before proceeding the ABC chose to trial the MIX within the Innovation Department as a way of understanding the organization's systemic innovation capabilities and to provide it with insight to the organizational capacity to develop innovation as a core organizational value.
The Process
- 22 participants completed the MIX on-line survey.
- The MIX Assessment Report was completed with confidential internal recommendations
The Client
Whilst the survey was revealing in its own right, it was what followed that really gave the MIX its strength. The MIX Assessment Report with its recommendations and the conversations and workshops around those recommendations enabled the entire ABC Innovation team to develop a completely new view of how innovation would work in the ABC. Indeed, we have already taken some of the ideas and started to implement them. We will definitely continue this work.
